This year, not only adults but also young people can vote in the state elections in Saxony. In a separate youth election, the young voters of tomorrow can send a signal to the parties about what is really important to them. Even if the result will ultimately have no influence on the official election, it will still have a signal effect.
The election is organized by the "Kinder- und Jugendring Sachsen". Between 01.07 - 23.08 young people have time to participate in the election. They can cast their votes at participating polling stations such as schools, youth centers or museums.
To educate young voters about the value of their vote and the influence it can bring, three explainer videos were produced, for which I did sound design and mixing.
